Eva's Experience
"My craftsmanship started at the age of sixteen..."
Eva started sewing at a young age and earned her first job in the bridal industry at the age of sixteen. After working at a local bridal shop in Stratford, Connecticut for thirteen years, she opened her own shop, Classic Brides By Eva in December of 1990.
Eva has developed her skills over the past 40 years with countless wedding dresses, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and flower girl dresses.
After years of experience and wedding parties, Eva still finds great joy in her work. She loves her craft and is happy to be able to provide such passion to someone's special day. She is thankful for all of her customers that have supported Classic Brides and is looking forward to meeting her future brides.

Eva prefers to work by appointment only. Having an appointment ensures that you have an individualized and private experience with your shopping, alterations, etc.
Can I bring people with me to my appointment?
Absolutely! You can definitely bring additional people with you to your appointment.
How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?
Eva welcomes you to bring as many people as you want. If you're thinking of bringing a larger group, please call ahead to so she can accommodate for seating.
How long is a bridal appointment to try on dresses?
90 minute appointments are made.
What if I can't make it to my appointment?
If you can not make it to your appointment, please call Eva as soon as possible to inform her.
Does Eva take in outside alterations?
Depending on the season and the number of brides that are already customers. Please call Eva at (203) 378 - 9074 to see her availability.
How long does it take for dresses to come in after being ordered?
Bridal dresses take anywhere from 4 - 5 months to come in. Eva recommends ordering your dress 8-12 months prior to your wedding to ensure that it comes in on time and alterations can be made.
Rush orders are available at an additional cost but styles may be limited.
What is the price range for bridal dresses?
Sale dresses start at $350-$1,000
Current bridal dresses range from $850-$2,200
What is the price range for bridesmaids dresses?
Maids dresses start at $160-$280
What is the price range for mother of the bride/groom dresses?
MOB dresses start at $250-$600
How much do alterations cost?
The price of alterations varies on what is needed.
